Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Supporting the aims and objectives of the Volunteer Police Cadet Scheme. You will support the day to day running of cadet units and our volunteers. This will include developing scheme content, delivering training, events and partnership plans. Prepare and deliver regional and national operations/events to promote the Volunteer Police Cadets. About the role

Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited, to:

  • Identify and undertake the planning of force level operations and events involving police cadets; liaising with local policing teams, event
    organisers and volunteer leaders. This will include volunteering activities, summer camps, training events, unit visits and working in partnership with other Cadet Forces and Youth Organisations.
  • Attend national and force level events involving police cadets; providing assistance to volunteers and cadets, and acting as SPOC to event organisers.
  • Coordinate Police Cadet Scheme Administration, to include managing cadet applications process; make sure that vetting and DBS checks are up to date. Keep CPD Training records up to date. Complete certificates for Reward and Recognition. Organise Attestation. Make sure Code of Conduct and PSV agreement are kept up to date.
  • Visit cadet unit sessions and activities to maintain contact and provide advice and guidance to cadet Leaders.
  • Design and produce clear, concise and well-presented training material for use within the volunteer police cadet scheme.
