June CPD Programme and May Webinar Highlights

Harry Meier 08/06/2026
Comments 0

Police Oracle and Red Snapper Learning have continued to build on their strong start to the year, launching a new series of June webinars shaped by the themes emerging from May's programme.

May’s sessions continued to focus on the practical skills and professional judgement required across policing and the wider criminal justice sector. Practitioners explored approaches to responding effectively to safeguarding concerns, strengthening confidence in handling disclosures, recognising risk, and taking appropriate action to protect vulnerable individuals.

Communication and evidence gathering also remained key themes. Sessions examined techniques for building rapport, improving the quality of information obtained during interviews, and supporting accurate, reliable evidence that can withstand scrutiny throughout the investigative process.

Across these themes, May highlighted a consistent priority: combining effective communication, safeguarding awareness, and evidence-based practice to support better outcomes for victims, witnesses, and communities.

Below is a summary of key themes from May’s webinars, followed by a chronological overview of upcoming sessions in June.
