  • Collecting and gathering material, intelligence and evidence from a wide range of sources.
  • Conducting analysis, assessing evidence and evaluating investigative material.
  • Supporting Officers in Case with the progression of investigations and completion of investigative actions.
  • Identifying and planning appropriate investigative actions, taking account of resources, priorities and proportionality.

  • Completing risk assessments and identifying appropriate support for victims throughout an investigation.
  • Developing and implementing victim plans where required to support the safety and wellbeing of victims.
  • Liaising with investigators, managers and other relevant colleagues to identify effective methods of gathering material.
  • Supporting the development of material into intelligence or evidence.
  • Completing accurate and timely investigative records and documentation.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure investigations progress effectively and within required timescales.

We are looking for investigators who are:

  • Experienced and confident within an investigative environment.
  • Thorough and analytical in their approach.
  • Able to assess and interpret complex information and evidence.
