Cambridgeshire Constabulary experience 999 call volumes higher than New Year’s Eve in July

The force is urging the public to use its online reporting system to help manage high demand on phone lines, as in the first two weeks of July, Cambridgeshire Constabulary experienced a 12 percent increase in 999 calls, and a five percent increase in 101 calls compared to the same period in June.
