We take an intelligence-led approach and concentrate on tackling the criminals and risks to the public which are beyond the capability or capacity of other law enforcement bodies. Our teams respond to a broad range of threats, many of which also remain a responsibility for police forces and other agencies as well as private industry.
For roles based in London, your contractual place of work will be Stratford. While the Stratford site is expected to become operational from November 2025 – March 2026, you will be required to carry out your contractual duties from Vauxhall or another reasonable location on a temporary basis during the interim period.
Please note that, as Stratford will be your contractual place of work, any subsequent move from a temporary location will not entitle you to payments for travel time or costs under the Relocation and Excess Travel Policy.

Information about the Business Area
This DD area incorporates our response to organised immigration crime (OIC), the Command’s London-based multi-threat and borders teams, and the Special Operations Unit (SOU).
This is an exciting new role in Exhibit management. You will manage the new central Exhibit stores at Stratford and the Organised Crime Partnership (OCP) London in Tolworth, and supervise/manage the G5 exhibit store Officer. You will manage the continuity of Exhibits in line with exhibit policy and legislation; contribute to court proceedings by identifying and readying exhibits for court; manage environments for exhibit storage including maintaining and managing the freezer operation and keep records of same. You will liaise across multiple teams and commands assisting them with trial requirements by overseeing processes for extraction of evidential material from exhibits.
The ability to manage two exhibits stores officers across two separate locations in Tolworth and Stratford so the ability to travel to both sites is essential.
Please note the Tolworth site will be operational by November 2026 so any applicant based at Tolworth will be required to work from London until this time

Whilst also taking timeous receipt of exhibits left in the out of hours area of the exhibit store including the drop box safe, recording and storing appropriately. |
| Police and Crime Evidence Act (PACE) | Selecting exhibits due for return to subjects in line with PACE and advise case team. |
| Appropriately package exhibits | Appropriately package exhibits required to be sent from the exhibit store e.g. to forensics, and accurately record the movement of same. |
| Countersign exhibit requests | Countersigning forensic requests on exhibits as requested by the case team. |
| Storage Management | Manage exhibit safe, storage and storage medium environments, ensuring the exhibit store has adequate documentation. Including selecting and managing exhibits to be placed into remote storage, accurately recording and managing actions and package exhibits appropriately to storage crates. |

New entrants to the NCA receive 26 days annual leave, rising to 31 on completion of 5 years continuous service, plus 8 bank holidays.
If qualifying criteria is met new joiners from UK Police Forces or the UK Intelligence Community (UKIC) will have service with those employers taken into account for continuous service purposes for annual leave entitlement only, this will be up to a maximum of 31 days leave (including 1 privilege day).
