The Royal Gibraltar Police invite applications for the post of Crime Scene Investigator.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or over and must be British Citizens. There is currently no minimum time that you must have lived in Gibraltar prior to applying for the role.

Applications from those either willing to reside in Gibraltar or those who live outside Gibraltar with a vehicle commute of no more than 1 hour from New Mole House Police Station will also be considered.

The successful candidates will be required to undergo training in the United Kingdom.

  1. The salary scale for the Crime Scene Investigator post is £38,000, £39,000, £40,000, £41,000, £42,000 per annum. An on-call allowance is payable. Candidates who possess relevant qualifications and/or substantial prior experience may be appointed at a higher point within the pay scale, subject to assessment and approval.
  2. Candidates must meet the essential requirements stated in the Job and Person Specification.
  3. Application forms, together with a Job Specification, can be obtained from police.gi. Further particulars may be obtained from the Royal Gibraltar Police Human Resources Department hr.recruitment@royalgib.police.gi.
  4. Application forms, along with copies of qualification certificates and two reference letters, should be submitted to the Royal Gibraltar Police via email to recruitment@royalgib.police.gi by no later than 12:00pm on Friday 27th February 2026.
  5. Please note that you will be required to provide all relevant original certificates stated in your application form on the day of your interview.
