Improved coordination ‘essential’ between police and mental health services, report finds

The report, compiled by researchers at the University of York and the University of Worcester through the ESRC Vulnerability & Policing Futures Research Centre, noted that while police officers played a vital role in supporting mental health emergencies, they were being hampered by a lack of coordination.
