Proactive Order Co-ordinator
Location: Fareham
Contract: Temporary (until March 2027)
Start Date: ASAP
Hours:

  • Full-time: 37 hours per week
  • Part-time: 30 hours per week considered

Pay Rate: £17.42 per hour (PAYE)
Working Pattern: Office-based


Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Proactive Order Co-ordinator to support a police force in Fareham. This is a long-term temporary opportunity funded until March 2027, offering stability and the chance to play a key role in public protection and offender management.
The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to officers and staff on the identification, application, and management of specific protective orders, ensuring effective use to manage risk and safeguard the public.


Key Responsibilities

  • Promote the effective use of protective orders across relevant cases
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to officers and staff on the application process
  • Complete and support high-quality applications, liaising with legal services where required
  • Analyse case information to assess whether an order is appropriate and provide clear feedback
  • Proactively identify live cases where orders should be considered
  • Monitor active orders and identify breaches, ensuring appropriate action is taken
  • Maintain accurate records across systems including RMS and Excel
  • Ensure data quality and compliance with recording standards
  • Collate and analyse statistical data to support performance reporting
  • Deliver or support training to improve understanding and use of protective orders
  • Act as a point of escalation for issues relating to protective orders

Scope of Role
This role will specifically focus on:

  • Sexual Risk Orders (SROs)
  • Stalking Protection Orders (SPOs)
  • Sexual Harm Prevention Orders (SHPOs)

Please note: this role does not cover Violent Offender Orders, Forced Marriage Protection Orders, or Domestic Violence Protection Notices/Orders.


Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong ability to analyse information and assess risk, making informed decisions on whether orders should be pursued
  • Experience providing clear, constructive feedback to professionals
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records
  • Experience using IT systems such as RMS, Excel, or similar databases
  • Ability to collate, interpret, and report on data
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Experience working within a busy, high-pressure environment

Additional Information

  • Previous experience with police systems (e.g. RMS Niche, PNC, PND) would be advantageous
