About the Role As a Reactive Maintenance Officer, you will: Deliver a comprehensive reactive and proactive property maintenance service across the Force estate. Participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota, providing support to designated buildings as required. Supervise the Force-wide portering service and maintenance assistants to ensure the effective delivery of a 24/7 customer-focused service. Manage and coordinate responses to property maintenance issues, ensuring repairs are completed to agreed standards and within statutory requirements. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal customers, identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and health and safety requirements. Support sustainability initiatives and identify opportunities for energy efficiencies across the estate. Liaise with contractors, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure value for money and quality service provision.
