We are seeking a motivated and proactive Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting effective financial management across the organisation.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will provide high-quality financial advice and guidance to budget holders, ensuring resources are used effectively and decisions are supported by robust financial analysis.
This role is designed to support individuals progressing through a professional finance qualification, offering a structured pathway aligned to experience and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional financial support and guidance to budget holders across assigned areas (FAUs)
- Support effective budget planning, monitoring and forecasting
- Deliver clear, insightful financial reports to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Analyse financial performance and proactively respond to emerging issues
- Challenge existing processes and identify opportunities to improve systems and efficiency
- Build strong relationships across departments to promote sound financial decision-making
About You

Unqualified (Grade E)
- AAT qualified (or relevant degree) with sound knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience within a large, complex financial environment
- Familiar with finance systems and procedures
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate financial information clearly
Part Qualified (Grade E–F)
- Studying towards a CCAB qualification
- Experience supporting budget management
- Ability to challenge processes and implement improvements
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Confident presenting financial information to non-finance audiences
Fully Qualified (Grade F–G)
- CCAB qualified accountant
- Proven experience in budget management within a complex organisation
- Ability to prioritise workloads and deliver under pressure
- Highly developed communication skills, including presenting to senior stakeholders
- Strong commercial awareness and advanced analytical capability
