We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join us as a People Services Assistant, within a national policing unit working to ensure safer communities in the UK and around the world.

More about the role

The role holder will be providing administrative HR support to the People Services team to support our in-house HR services. This will be across several areas of People Services including onboarding, recruitment, contractual variations, and HR data.

There will also be opportunities to support casework, change management and Learning & Development.

We are a generalist team, and are hoping to find someone looking to explore a career in People Services with the breadth of exposure we can offer.

The successful role holder will work 22.5 hours per week. They must be able to work on a Wednesday, other working days and pattern can be discussed at interview.

Essential Qualifications

Educated to QCF Level 2 including Maths and English, or work experience that may be deemed to have brought the post holder up to a comparable level.

Essential Experience

Proven administrative experience in a busy, customer service focused office environment, with frequent direct contact with customers.

Good working knowledge of using IT systems including spreadsheets and word processing.
