Calico is a female-led arts and activism social enterprise, using theatre, film and virtual reality (VR) to combat gendered violence.
This webinar will discuss how Calico, a non-profit live-experience organisation, are using virtual reality to build empathy for women’s experiences, and foster victim-centred approaches to VAWG. Built from community voices, the training addresses victim-blaming and rebuilding trust & confidence in policing head-on. Calico already successfully delivers their training to all West Midlands Police new recruits, and will outline their approach, share learning, and explore how the training could be implemented within your organisation.
