NPCC defends lockdown data delays after row over BAME enforcement

The police chiefs’ leader has defended how police forces have handled COVID-19 enforcement against BAME people and the use of stop-and-search. NPCC Chair Martin Hewitt rejected claims by MPs that forces had made “basic, insensitive errors”.
