More than 6,500 officers and staff have access to content and CPD courses through PDS offer

Martin Jerrold 09/02/2026

We are delighted to welcome all of the new Police Oracle subscribers who have joined us through the Police Digital Service (PDS) subscription offer.

Since the launch of the PDS offer, more than 6,500 officers and police staff from 45 policing organisations have taken up the opportunity to access Police Oracle’s professional development content and services. This level of engagement demonstrates the appetite across policing for accessible, high-quality learning and career support.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the many force communications professionals who played a vital role in sharing this offer with their policing communities. Thanks also go to Chief Officer teams, Learning and Development teams, HR colleagues, and staff and officer representative bodies — including the Police Federation, the National Police Association, and other representative associations — for supporting and amplifying the message locally.

To support the launch of the Police Digital Service offer, Police Oracle made available 1,350 course credits for the leading NIE and NPPF examination support service, Police Revision. Demand for these resources has been exceptionally strong, with 85% of forces fully utilising their allocated coupons.

Any unused coupons will be redistributed on Friday 13th to forces experiencing higher levels of demand, ensuring that as many officers and staff as possible can benefit from this support.

Engagement has extended well beyond examination preparation. To date:

-Over 100 officers have joined our Spring promotion board mock interview programme

-60 officers are signed up to take part in two mock examination webinars

-We are encouraged by the breadth of uptake and the clear commitment from officers and staff to invest in their development.

Looking ahead, we are excited to announce our forthcoming Spring programmes, which will place a strong focus on leadership skills and leadership support, alongside targeted sessions designed specifically for specialist police staff roles.

These programmes will sit alongside our established continuing professional development (CPD) offer, which provides access to more than 200 one-hour learning sessions each year, supporting professional growth at every stage of a policing career.

Once again, thank you to everyone who has engaged with the Police Digital Service offer and to all those who helped make its launch such a success. We look forward to supporting you throughout the year ahead.
