'Most efficient forces' to benefit from firearms full cost recovery
There is no confirmed date for Home Office plans to consult on new firearms licensing fees, despite promises to do so this summer following a review which began in April 2022.

The Home Office has confirmed plans to move to a full cost recovery model for firearms licences, but only for the "most efficient forces".
It currently costs £79.50 to apply for a shotgun certificate that will last five years,...
