We are looking for a proactive intelligence professional who will provides specialist analytical expertise to support safeguarding activity across the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS), with a primary focus on identifying, assessing, and mitigating risk, harm, and vulnerability.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Collect, evaluate, and interpret complex and sensitive information from RCIPS systems and partner agency sources (including social services, health, and education) to identify vulnerable individuals, repeat victims, and high-risk offenders. This includes assessing the reliability, relevance, and sensitivity of information to support safeguarding decisions and ensure appropriate prioritisation of risk and harm.
• Identify intelligence gaps, data limitations, and areas of uncertainty within safeguarding cases, and provide evidence-based recommendations to support risk mitigation and intervention strategies. This includes advising on additional lines of enquiry, information requirements, or partnership engagement needed to strengthen safeguarding outcomes.

Knowledge, Education & Experience:
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Sociology, Psychology, Social Sciences, Data Analytics or a related field and/or Criminal Intelligence Analyst training from an accredited institution or law enforcement agency.
• Training or certification in safeguarding, child protection, domestic abuse, or vulnerability assessment is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in an analytical environment in a crime and/or intelligence or safeguarding role within a law enforcement organisation.
• Experience in all areas of analysis including tactical and specific experience of supporting operational policing and producing intelligence and evidential products is required.
• Experience working within, or alongside, a multi-agency environment (e.g., MASH, safeguarding hubs, social services, or similar), including understanding of information-sharing protocols.
• Demonstrates resilience and self-motivation, with the ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
