‘Significant improvements’ needed for police custody arrangements in Northern Ireland
That's the view of Criminal Justice Inspection Northern Ireland (CJI) chief inspector Jacqui Durkin and Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA) chief executive Briege Donaghy, who said after the publication of their joint review that only one of six strategic recommendations and none of the operational recommendations made five years ago have been fully implemented.
