About the role Support the Digital Forensics Group by maintaining flow of exhibits through the unit and completing early analysis of exhibits to determine the best course of action by using comprehensive triage processes. To carry out unlocking of mobile devices and produce detailed reports and evidence. Advise OIC of technical capability to assist lines of enquiry. Diagnose faults and conduct minor repairs of devices. Carry out digital media wiping processes To conduct quality check/peer reviews as part of the rolling schedule. To schedule work in an effective manner and communicate results clearly

This role allows the post holder to build on proven investigative experience by working with a range of law enforcement agencies and private and public sector stakeholders. As the Probation Officer for the Island, you will undertake all offender management tasks supported by a Probation Support Officer. This will include assessing and managing the risk posed by offenders. With lead responsibility for interventions you will develop partnerships, train and nurture local staff and provide input to the island’s Safeguarding Board on behalf of the Probation Service. You will contribute directly to public protection through your role as Chair of the island’s Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements. You will also support the delivery of interventions to young people who are considered ‘at risk’ of offending through the Youth Diversion Scheme, responding to crises or emergencies, providing guidance, support, and referrals as necessary for those serving sentences within the community. Your training, support and supervision of the Probation Support Officer will be invaluable.
