Schoolgirl Holly Newton was just 15 years old when she was stabbed to death by her jealous ex-boyfriend, Logan MacPhail. Yet, in the eyes of the law, Holly was not a victim of domestic abuse, irrespective of the behaviour she endured. The teenager's mother, Micala Trussler, told Police Oracle why the law needed to be changed and what red flags she saw in MacPhail's attitude towards her daughter.
