Nottinghamshire Police is seeking to appoint a dynamic, innovative and inspirational Chief Superintendent to lead at a critical level within our organisation. Applications are invited from substantive Chief Superintendents and Superintendents on promotion (or equivalent ranks). All candidates must have completed the Police Leadership Programme Stage 4.
Applications open on Wednesday 2nd September 2026 and the closing date for application submission is Wednesday 23rd September 2026 at 2359 hours.
Shortlisting results will be communicated by Friday 25th September 2026.
All candidates who are successfully shortlisted will be invited to a People Panel which will be held at Nottinghamshire Police Headquarters on Monday 28th September 2026.
Executive Interviews, including a pre-prepared presentation, will take place between Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th September 2026 at Nottinghamshire Police Headquarters. Presentation topic will be provided following shortlisting.
