Applications are invited from substantive Assistance Chief Constables and Chief Superintendents on promotion. All candidates must have completed the Executive Leadership Programme (Cohorts 1, 2 or 3). Or have completed the Strategic Command Course (including PNAC).

Shortlisting results will be communicated by Friday 25th September 2026.
All candidates who are successfully shortlisted will be invited to a People Panel which will be held at Nottinghamshire Police Headquarters on Monday 28th September 2026.
Executive Interviews, including a pre-prepared presentation, will take place between Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th September 2026 at Nottinghamshire Police Headquarters. Presentation topic will be provided following shortlisting.
