    To strengthen practitioners’ understanding of coercive and controlling behaviour and its impact on adults, children and family systems. Participants will develop confidence in recognising hidden domestic abuse, understanding barriers to disclosure and responding effectively through safe enquiry, professional curiosity and coordinated safeguarding practice.

    Learning Objectives:

    Recognise signs and patterns of coercive and controlling behaviour.

    Understand barriers that may prevent victims and children from disclosing abuse.

    Identify hidden risks to adults, children and wider family members.

    Apply safe enquiry, professional curiosity and effective multi-agency safeguarding responses to domestic abuse situations.
