Two Met Police counters left operational 24/7 with 10 front desks axed, new plan reveals
In a statement on Wednesday, the Met Police said front counters in Lewisham and Charing Cross would remain operational 24 hours a day, with nearly a dozen more set to close under cost-cutting measures.
