Police officer ‘critical’ following collision while responding to another crash

Northumbria Police said the officer was called out at 11.10pm on Monday to reports of a collision on the A189 at Cramlington, Northumberland, involving two cars, with the occupants of one of the vehicles fleeing the scene.
