‘Academics still don’t trust police, and police don’t trust academics – a solution will come’
Dr Ahmad Al-Hiari, a lecturer in Leadership and Management at De Montfort University (DMU) in Leicestershire, told Police Oracle that there was "frustration" from figures within policing and academia that stronger ties have traditionally not resulted in greater collaboration.
