Role Overview
To work within Red Snapper Learning to provide marketing and sales support for business development in Bluelight, Regulatory and Government organisations for our Public Safety and EDI subject areas.
Primary responsibility is to support with sales growth and marketing to enable us to grow across the key markets we support. We want to achieve revenue and overall growth and develop strong and positive customer relationships. This will play a crucial role in the sales process by assisting with various tasks to drive business growth.
Responsibilities
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
• Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including online research, social media, webinars and industry events.
• Assist in creating and maintaining a prospect database.
• Collaborate with senior management team members to develop effective prospecting strategies.
Outreach and Communication:
• Conduct outbound calls, emails, and other communication methods to initiate contact with potential clients.
• Introduce company products or services to prospects and qualify leads based on predefined criteria.
• Manage 4 webinars per month including liaising with marketing and qualifying leads from these events.·
• Work closely with senior management to schedule appointments and product demonstrations.
Sales Support:
• Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales materials, proposals, and presentations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather information required for the sales process.
• Assist in managing and updating the customer relationship management (CRM) system with accurate and current information.
• Review and register tender alerts which are appropriate.
• Coordinate responses to tenders.
• Produce marketing collateral and material and work with the marketing department to develop meaningful information for campaign.
• Coordinate marketing plans and prepare information for campaigns.
Customer Engagement:
• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and address concerns to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Collaborate with senior team members to identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities within the existing customer base.
Market Research:
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
• Assist in analysing market data to identify new business opportunities and challenges.
Sales Reporting:
• Prepare regular sales reports to track progress against targets.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on sales data analysis.
Training and Development:
• Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and professional development.
• Seek feedback from senior team members and incorporate learning experiences into your approach.
Event Participation:
• Assist in the coordination and attendance of industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
• Engage with potential clients during events to promote the company’s products or services.
Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate effectively with other team members to achieve overall sales goals.
• Share insights and best practices with the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
