The Economic and Cyber Crime Academy is looking for Associate Trainers to join the team. If you have experience in investigating economic crime, cyber crime or money laundering, we would like to hear from you.
Ideally you’ll already have a level 4 training qualification, but if you’re willing to work towards achieving this, get in touch.
As part of the Economic and Cyber Crime Academy’s associate training team you’ll experience the rewards that come from sharing your professional knowledge and skills with the next generation of investigators in policing and law enforcement, shaping the future of investigation in this priority area.
You can be flexible with your availability. Training is delivered at venues across the UK.
Your new role Responsible to the Training Delivery Manager for the day to day delivery of economic crime training programmes, supervising learners (and where appropriate new associate trainers) to ensure that learning objectives are met.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Deliver training programmes to agreed content and assessment specifications to ensure that all learners receive consistent, high quality training.
· Research and refresh subject matter and help identify areas of improvement.
· Communicate with training team to confirm course arrangements.
· Complete accurate records of assessments.
· Create a safe and engaging learning environment for all attendees.
· Tutor, monitor, and assess learners on courses which require completion of portfolio.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Essential Criteria – Experience
· Up to date competence, experience and/or knowledge within the subject matter specialism; typically economic crime, cybercrime and money laundering. Applicants do not require expertise on all subjects.
· Experience of working collaboratively
· Sound understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion within a learning environment including accounting for learners’ preferred learning styles
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex and specialised concepts
· Exhibit personal qualities and behaviours which are a role model for others and welcome feedback.
· Proficiency in MS Office applications and a good level of IT literacy
· Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
· Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
