Too many women needlessly arrested, says all parliamentary group
A cross-party panel of MPs and peers has today (Tuesday 18 May) published new analysis of women arrest data to prevent them being "swept" into the criminal justice system.

The All Party Parliamentary Group on Women in the Penal System (APPG) looked at anonymised arrest data from five forces which provide detailed information on more than 640 arrests.
