Officers now permitted to bring Tasers into court buildings
From today officers will be allowed to take their Taser into court buildings thanks to an amendment made by Lord Ian Burnett, Lord Chief Justice.

The Lord Chief Justice has amended The Criminal Practice Direction - which covers criminal court procedures - to allow officers to carry a Taser in court as part of their operational equipment when attending on a routine basis.
