Met officers to drive ambulances as COVID-19 depletes crews
Met officers are being re-trained to become temporary ambulance drivers due to the COVID-19 virus. Firefighters are also set to join them.

The Metropolitan Police has confirmed 75 officers are volunteering to be retrained because London Ambulance drivers are either self-isolating or have the virus.
