The chief constable of Sussex Police has paid tribute to two officers who died within two days of each other.

PC Doug Franks, 43, who served as a member of the Bognor Response team, died suddenly at his home in Lee-on-the-Solent, Hampshire, on February 10. He leaves a son. On February 12, Sergeant Sean Preston, 50, a custody sergeant in Worthing, also died...
