Team The Association has
elected a new President and Vice President. Superintendent Kevin
Morris, from Surrey, takes over as President from Peter Gammon who has retired
from the Service. Chief Superintendent Rick
Naylor, a South Yorkshire officer, is the new Vice President.
President KEVIN MORRIS
said: ‘I am delighted to take on this role at a very important time for the
Police Service. We are about to embark on a period of enormous change and I will
thrive on the challenge to steer this Association into a new era of policing.
‘I am very proud that my
colleagues across England and Wales elected me as their President and I will
endeavour to ensure that their voice is heard on all relevant issues.’
Deputy Secretary David
Palmer said: ‘I believe the new team will prove an asset to the Association.
They will continue to enhance the high profile of the Association and strive to
improve the Police Service in England and Wales.’
