Seven charged Kent Police can confirm twelve people in total were arrested on Monday 4 August in connection with the climate camp protest.
Seven people charged
Seven of the twelve people arrested have been charged as follows:
Reginald Twigger, 40, of Knole Street, Nottingham, was charged with possession of a bladed article. Mr Twigger was bailed to appear at Chatham Magistrates’ Court on 28 August.
Taus Murray Larsen, 31, address unknown, was charged with obstructing police. Mr Larsen was bailed to appear at Chatham Magistrates’ Court on 28 August.
Emma Sheppard, 27, of Hamilton Road, Manchester, was charged with driving without insurance and driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence. Ms Sheppard was bailed to appear at Chatham Magistrates’ Court on 28 August.
Sonny Ahmed Khan, 36, of Singleton Park, Kendal, was charged with obstruction of a police officer. Mr Khan was bailed to appear at Chatham Magistrates’ Court on 28 August.
Mika Minio-Paluello, 27, address unknown, was charged with obstructing and resisting a police officer. Mr Minio-Paluello has been remanded to court.
Patrick Jan Gillett, 24, address unknown, was charged with obstructing and resisting a police officer. Mr Gillett has been remanded to court.
Andrew Girling, 45, of High Street, Quarry Bank, Dudley, was charged with obstructing and resisting a police officer. Mr Girling has been remanded to court.
