Greenleys, Great Holm, Grange Farm, Shenleys and Stony Stratford have experienced high levels of visibility and anti-social behaviour operations taking place. This has included confiscation of alcohol from people under the age of 18 and the use of body-warn video by officers. The cameras help deter problematic behaviour and capture any anti-social behaviour which can help in the application of Anti-Social Behaviour Orders and inform parents what their children are up to when not under their supervision.
Wolverton Special Sgt Steve Brisley, said: “Our hours of work have been focused on Friday and Saturday nights. During this time we have been patrolling known areas of anti-social behaviour and dealing with any form of nuisance behaviour. The high visibility patrols have also helped deter any potential issues.
“Working along side the police officers and Police Community Support Officers we can help to continue to reduce crime and tackle the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) priorities including anti-social behaviour and make Wolverton a happier and safer place to live, work and visit.”
The Wolverton team consists of six Special Constables: SC Deby Potten SC Jane Gosney SC Tom Clare SC Jason Webb SC Katie King S Sgt Steve Brisley
