Late night bars and clubs across Lancaster, Morecambe and Wyre will also be helping to deliver the message of Lancashire Police's county-wide Operation Focus campaign.
Staff at the venues are being briefed about the initiative, which is aimed at highlighting the potential dangers of excessive alcohol in a bid to reduce the chances of people becoming victims of sexual assaults.
Posters and advice leaflets will be on display in the premises and those with large screens will also be showing safety messages.
Officers on late-night duty will also be making sure that drunken and distressed people are given assistance and that they take licensed taxis home.
Detective Inspector Phil Jones, Lancaster Police said: "We do not have a high number of such assaults in northern division but on occasion it does happen, and often there is a link to alcohol.
"We want to make people aware of the dangers of drinking too much and the effect that alcohol can have on their decision making ability - an effect that can have life changing consequences.
"We want to people to go out and have a good time - but we want them to stay safe and avoid becoming a victim of crime while they are doing that."
The campaign will run until end of August.
