Officers Seize £1.5 Million Cocaine Haul
Metropolitan Police operation nets 11kg worth of Class A drug in major operation.

Officers have intercepted a major cocaine haul and made a number of arrests following an operation by the SCD7, the Metropolitan Police Special Projects Team.
As this story went live, the Force had reported that 11kg of drug, worth £1.5 million, had been recovered following a proactive intelligence-led surveillance operation.
According to reports, three suspects were arrested in Northampton where officers made the seizure of the cocaine and approximately £170,000 cash from a haulage company.
The remaining five people were arrested in the London boroughs of Bexley, Southwark and Kingston, were around £30,000 cash was also recovered.
DI Sarah Staff of the Special Projects Team said: "Approximately 11 kilos of cocaine bound for London's streets and beyond has been removed from circulation today.
"The seizure has disrupted a significant supply of cocaine and we hope that it will reinforce the message that the Met will continue to combat those criminal networks who intend on flooding the streets with class A drugs".
