High-profile delegates including former Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Ian Blair are among the speakers at a seminar in London this week.

Organised by Westminster Forum Projects, the event – entitled the Future of Policing, Accountability, Effectiveness and Cost – is being chaired by Tony Baldry, secretary of the House of Commons All-Party Policing Group.

Supported by PoliceOracle.com the seminar will focus on the Home Office white paper – Protecting the Public: Supporting the Police to Succeed – which sets out several key future expectations for law enforcement.

Other confirmed speakers include Jane Furniss, CEO of the Independent Police Complaints Commission, Sussex Police Assistant Chief Constable Robin Merrett and Rob Allen, Senior Policy Advisor at the Confederation of British Industry.

Further information about the seminar, which is being held at Princess Alexandra Hall at St James's Street on March 18, is available by visiting the link below.
