A man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a police officer in Norwich.

This comes following an incident early on Friday February 17 after the male officer, who was trying to arrest a man in Thomas Wyatt Close, Norwich, received knife wounds to his hand.

Officers from Norwich CID are investigating the case which happened at approximately 04:45Hours.

A man arrested, who is 23-years-old, has been taken into custody.

The officer is receiving treatment but is expected to be released from hospital soon.

Hope the officer recovers quickly, and the piece of Scum that stabbed him is quickly dealt with.

He will be dealt with quickly.....they will be quick to ensure the poor soul is given help because he is obviously suffering from a bad childhood.....so lets guess at a weeks community service suspended for a week......sounds about right !!
