Soft On Crime our first success!
Check the result in MSN.co.uk
Been asking for help with this from some webmasters at sites I frequent and blogs that I read daily.
If you know of any webmasters who'd be prepared to help the cause, please ask them to join in the fun and link to the Labour party using anchor text as above.
Hee-Hee-Hee.....!

I'm sure there is a way to get your home page to go straight to search pages and register a hit. That way each time you open up explorer (which is a lot) you'd get another hit on the count! Any techies know how it's done?

Just reset your home page by clicking on Tools in the explorer toolbar and then clicking Internet Options on the menu and then putting the email address in the box marked home page

If you use Mozilla, you can set it to open loads of pages all at once when you start the browser.
If you are using Internet Explorer, this option isn't available (AFAIK)
Anyway, open your browser, go to Google or whichever search engine you use and do the "Soft on Crime" search.
When you get the result, click Tools/Internet Options on the toolbar.
Click the General tab and in the Home Page section, click "Use
current". This will change the home page to the page you are looking at.
Click Apply and OK, then close IE. Re-open it and see the search page re-appear.
Dead simple!

Somebody, somewhere has been having words with Google!
I've just done the search and instead of being the second placed item, the Labour Party link doesn't appear at all!
Is it just me or is there some censorship going on?

Yeah it looks like Google is adjusting it's search results.
Soft On Crime is still there on Google UK, but showing a hit for this forum, it's not as high placed.
Soft on the causes of crime now also seems to be showing.....
MSN is still good.
Keep on passing this on, it'll come back the more sites linking to it!
