I don;t find anything like this unbelievable anymore, nothing shocks me now, the world is going  crazy. All I am worried about is how far it will go before people have enough and we have problems.

How far is it going to go?

I thought it was something entirely different going on in English streets that caused horses to bolt...

I shared the link with a friend who pointed it out that Hampshire is the force that never found the kidnapped baby penquin and that considering lots of American cars have flags and none of us blind (well none of the unelected to public office, that is)....

I wonder if police will take action during the festival of eid (spelling?) When car loads of youths fly flags and generally do all sorts of naughtiness in and on cars...and all over the road MP...none of it in the name of Engerland so I presume they will be safe. Much easier to target the ordinary Joe

Look what I just recieved from the DVLA.

Spooky?

Notice issued: 12th May 2006

In order to assist other motorists in identifying potentially

dangerous drivers, it's now compulsory for anyone with a lower

than average IQ and driving ability to display a warning flag.

The flag (comprising of a red cross on a white background) will

be attached to the top of at least one door of their vehicle.

For drivers of exceptionally low ability, additional flags are

required.

Tony Blair Orders England Flag Flown On Match Days

It's not a spoof!

"Permission to raise the Cross of St. George sir?"
"Denied..... Bahhhhh....! Anyone seen my hobby horse?"

If it's good for goose it's definitely good for gander.

Lets get those flags flying with pride!

Help me please understand how flying the England flag could possibly offend other nationalities living in the UK? How is it PC not to fly the England flag in support of the national football team? I know Americans are a little flag obssessed, but what other image can/should English people use to support their national team?

Telegraph article

I read this while eating my scone and my head is bewildered still.

The short answer is, it could not possibly offend other nationalities.

However, there are some people in the UK who have political aims. Part of those aims is to control and subjugate the indigenous people. They have invented (or appropriated) the term "Political Correctness" in order to play on peoples conscience and coerce them into subservience. When they run out of Political Correctness ideas, they invent new, even dafter, ones.

I wish I were sponsored by Bill Gates bank account ; but no; the way the Internet is set up here, everything defaults to Internet Explorer. It's annoying because everytime an Internet search fails, MSN pops up on my screen Most annoying.

But back to the PC Nazis: That's just silly; how can you have a cohesive society if there's nothing to be cohesive around; and what's more inocuous than a flag. Oh, I'm sure at some massacre in 1813 someone's great-great-great-great grandfather wept as the Union Jack was raised over their town and the family has never forgotten nor forgiven. <grabs handkerchief> Pahleeze

Since my paternal ancestors once lived under British rule, never mind enslaved......now where did I put that six pack of resenment....

Ahem. There has never been a Union Jack flown over any town. I think you mean the Union Flag. The Union Jack is only so called when the Union Flag is flown at the Jack Staff of one of Her Majesty's ships.

I agree with you that such PC nonsense is just silly. However, we have to put up with such nonsense all the time. The trouble is that these political extremists have managed to brainwash some members of society into believing that their ideas have some value. The difficulty is differentiating between those with an ulterior motive and the brainwashed sheep.

That's simple. Political control without having to be elected.

Its time the Deputy Chief of North Wales was transferred to St Agnes Model Village, as Chief, where he can do no harm. He was on BBC News at 5pm saying people should not fly the England flags as it could be disrespectful to the Welsh, and could cause violence, and could be intimidating. Is he living in Lala land or is he real. North Wales have been foot shooting again, a pub landlady stuck a dragon on the dart board and some PC idiot complained to the police because it was the Welsh Flag, she was interviewed for two hour re 'race hate'. It was a charity do to raise money for a good cause, and it was children throwing the darts. North Wales seem to be the leaders in the 'shooting competition'.

North Wales' leaders lead the way it seems when it comes to political correct lunacy, and the rest simply follow like (dare I say it) sheep... Whilst I have previously scoffed at the idea, I honestly think the time has come for Police leaders to be elected by the community they serve; hopefully, they would then concentrate on real Policing issues, which effect the community rather than flags and harmless fun at Charity do's.
