Appearing at magistrates court today 3 x Liebour and 1 x Tory Peer all charged with False Accounting over the expenses affair. All are pleading Not Guilty! Well there's a surprise, would you expect anything else?

Let us see when they are asked a simple straightforward answer if they can flannel their way out of  that one with out smoke and mirrors!

What's the betting when it comes to Crown Court (which it surely will) will they still go guilty or put their hands up?

Stop Press  One more Liebour politician still being investigated.

What a pompous lot they were, they told the District Judge that they didn't want to sit in the dock, but he told them they would, and they did.

One of them made a comment as he went in which was filmed and shown on the news. "I have not done anything dishonest................ever...."
Oh how I hope that is seized and thrown back at him!

If they are that innocent, as they proclaim, why don't they go to Crown Court, plead 'not guilty', instead of hoping to invoke some act from the 16 hundreds, which claims Parliamentary Privelege, if innocent they have nothing to fear in Crown Court.

They are going to Crown Court, whether they like it or not.

Lord Hanningfield didn't object to the dock, as far as I can see. It was the Defence Sol of the 3 MPs who asked they be spated that indignity.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1257391/Baroness-Uddin-escapes-criminal-charges-expenses-claims.html   Was the reason because the CPS were frightened of being called racist.
