How about a 10p mixed bag. I used to get a bag full of sweets for 10p, including black-jacks, fruit-salad, dainties, flying saucers, white mice, Chelsea whoppers etc, and it lasted me all day. You'd be hard pushed to buy one sweet for 10p these days.

I'm coming home to UK for a holiday later this year, I'll bring you some - it's heavy stuff and has a certain heady aroma ........ ..... but it really makes floors look great!

After spending 6 days in the UK
A Litter bins that was used.
You hear about them but no one uses them or are they just for show?
I saw more rubbish next to most of them than in them.

That's because litter bins had a tendency to explode in the 80's and 90's......

I could loan you some. Send them back when you're done. Last time I washed some, you should have seen the note I got from the laundry.

I expect they went back to China, due to lack of bamboo shoots in the UK.

I saw more rubbish next to most of them than in them. There are non one railway stations, they were withdrawn after the bomb in Victoria back in 1990 was placed in one.

You'll probably find a few honest barristas in Starbucks or Costa Coffee but the chance of finding an honest MP/barrister is slim - particul;arly if you think of the sort of character who is both - one Tony Bliar - I'm sure honest barristers who are MPs must be very upset!

Not all of them in the town ware I was they was still around just no one used them plus along the roads it was a mess.
It looked as if I was driving to a waste disposal site in stead of a main road motorways was not that much better, on one road side plastic bottles and rubbish bags I was waiting to see a fridge or kitchen sink.
And this in the Country side not in a Town, City or on a Railway station.

You used to be able to get mechanical pencils with thick lead which didn't break easily. I have two and some leads from when I was a kid, but I haven't seen them since. These thin ones are OK but I find the grip on the lead goes, and the lead snaps too easily.
